Jeya is a PhD student in Biostatistics at the Melbourne School of Population and Global Health developing mathematical and statistical approaches to inform the elimination of malaria from Malaysia. Prior to this role, she graduated from Heriot-Watt University (Scotland) with a BSc (First Class Honours) in Mathematics, Statistics and Actuarial Science in 2015 and subsequently completed an MSc with Distinction in Mathematical Biology from the University of Dundee (Scotland) in 2016. Her thesis was on “The Relationship between Cancer Cells, Immune Cells and Metabolism & Their Contribution to Cancer Therapy”.
